Answer first: To sell digital products as a creator: (1) pick a small, specific product your content already proves you can teach, (2) price it between $9-$49, (3) put it on a store page that lives in your bio, and (4) launch to your audience with a limited-time discount. You can do all four in one week - no website, no inventory, no code.
Most creators fail at this by starting too big: a 6-month flagship course nobody asked for yet. Sell something small first; let buyers tell you what to build next.
Step 1: Mine your content for the product
Look at your last 30 posts. Which one got saved, shared, or "how do I do this?" replies the most? That is demand, already proven. Package the answer as a product: a template, a checklist, a preset pack, a 45-minute mini-course, a resource guide. If your content made people say "I'd pay for this," they will.
Step 2: Price between $9 and $49
First products live in impulse-buy territory. Under $9 signals low value; over $50 needs trust you have not built with a first product yet. You can raise prices with proof - and first buyers love being early.
Step 3: Build the store page (30 minutes)
You need a page with: your name and face, one clear bio line, and product cards with prices and buy buttons. A link-in-bio store gives you exactly this for free. Critical detail: checkout must happen on the page. Every redirect to another platform loses about a third of ready buyers.
Step 4: Set up automatic delivery
Upload the files once and let the store deliver them. With automatic delivery, buyers get a secure download link the second they pay - including 2 a.m. impulse purchases you would otherwise ship manually the next morning.
Step 5: Launch with a deadline
Post three times about the launch: the problem it solves, a behind-the-scenes of you making it, and a last-call with a deadline. Use a limited-time discount for the first 72 hours. Deadlines convert lurkers into buyers; permanent availability converts no one.
Step 6: Read the numbers, then repeat
After a week, check three numbers in your analytics: views per product, conversion rate, and revenue. Low views? Promote more. Low conversion? Fix the product card (image, title, price). Good conversion? Build the next product - your buyers will tell you what it is.
What good looks like
A 1,000-follower account converting at 2-3% on a $19 product makes $380-$570 per launch push - recurring every time you post. That is the whole flywheel: small product, real store, deadline launch, read numbers, repeat.
